If the weather is too bad for the photo shoot to take place outside, a new appointment can be scheduled (free of charge!).
After booking, you will receive a guide on what to wear and bring. We recommend bringing a selection of outfits to make it look like the photos are from different days!
In general, best to bring tops in different colors: light, dark and something colorful that matches your skin tone. T-shirts and buttoned shirts are good. The combo of hoodie and cool jacket made of leather or jeans works a dream. For the bottom, just wear dark jeans or trousers. And wear your nicest shoes!
If you need more styling tips, you can book a styling consultation with our stylist here: https://www.datingphotos.net/booking-calendar/styling-consultation
It includes a 30-minute call with our stylist and in the end you will receive 3 complete outfit ideas with links to buy the products.
A session is up to 90 minutes in our pro package, and 60 minutes in our basic package.
The time is more than enough to get a variety of amazing photos. If you have any wishes like a location change or special place, please let us know in advance.
You can find out more about prices by selecting your city on our website.
We have a few locations that we usually go to and I recommend to go to those since we already know what works well, but you are welcome to make suggestions too. Once you make a booking, the photographer will reach out to you to discuss the location.
During the photo session, we take outdoor (i.e. terrace, park, city) as well as indoor (i.e. café, shopping mall) photos, whichever you prefer.
In warmer months we spend more time outdoors, and in winter months more time indoors.
For outdoors we choose locations that offer a big variety and have a city & nature part, so it looks like the photos are from different days. You will walk around the location to find different spots and backgrounds. If you would like for example photos on an outdoor basketball court or bouldering wall, that's no problem!
For indoors, we normally go to a café (for photos with a coffee or laptop) or a shopping mall (which has a lot of space and interesting light). You can suggest another location for indoors but it has to be public (we don't take photos in people's homes) and reachable within the given time.
We will take photos of you sitting, standing, walking, doing things (like having a drink, using your phone or laptop, putting on your jacket, it actually makes your arms look great!), doing your hobby (basketball, bouldering, on your bike, etc.), doing sports (can even be jumping off some stairs if you aren't super sporty). Basically, we will take as big of a variety as possible so you can fill your profile!
Let the photographer know what you wish to do!
For example, want a photo in a car? If you organize the car (through a car-sharing app is super easy), no problem, just let the photographer know.
We send you the photos to your email, 7-14 days after the photo shooting via email.
We only do light color correction on the photos, as it must look natural.
If you would like special retouching done for example due to skin issues, then we offer that at an extra price. Let us know beforehand at hi@datingphotos.net.
As is common practice among photographers, we do not give out raw files or unedited images.
Sending out unedited work is like delivering an unfinished product and we only want to send you beautiful images which meet our service quality standards. You receive high-quality edited images as JPEGs.
I get it, you have probably never done a photo shoot before and its's nerve-wracking! Most people are nervous before the photoshoot and so I only work with really lovely photographers who are amazing at making you feel comfortable. You will spend the first 5 minutes chatting and warming up to each other and then taking a couple of test shots. You will get into it quickly, and seriously, most people are surprised with how much fun it is!
Heck yea! We have tested a lot of different photos with different profiles to see what really works and we incorporate that into the pictures as well.
